Tracking Our Impact, Empowering Our Communities

At Reclaiming Our Greatness, we are committed to delivering meaningful support to the families and individuals we serve. By closely monitoring our programs and outcomes, we ensure that every effort we make has a measurable impact. Through comprehensive data tracking, we assess the progress of those we serve, refine our approaches, and celebrate successes along the way.

Our work focuses on empowering communities disproportionately affected by systemic challenges, providing them with the tools and resources needed to achieve stability and reclaim their greatness. Together, we are making strides toward brighter futures—one family, one success story at a time.

Summary of Our Achievements as of March 2025

Here are some highlights of what we’ve accomplished:

  • Since April of 2022, Reclaiming Our Greatness has created a pathway for $1 million in rental assistance to enter the community through direct assistance and our rental processing contracts.
  • ROG has served and provided resources to 641 households since April of 2022.
  • Families received an average of $4,135 in financial assistance, helping them build stable foundations.
  • Our Case management support helps prevent school disruptions for children in struggling households, fostering continuity in education.
  • A strong focus on equity ensures that Black/African American households received the most comprehensive support, with tailored resources to address their unique challenges.

These successes reflect our unwavering dedication to empowering the communities we serve and our determination to achieve even greater impact in the years ahead.

Moving Forward

The clients we serve are our testament to the impactful work Reclaiming Our Greatness has achieved thus far. By leveraging over relationships with King County Best Starts for Kids (YFHPI), United Way Keep King County Housed, WA State Department of Commerce, and United Way King County we are able to continuously refine our strategies and expand our reach. Our organization’s growth since its inception in May of 2020 is a direct reflection of our commitment to serving those most in need, while addressing housing instability and creating pathways to stability for families and individuals.

As we continue to track our progress and outcomes, we remain focused on building a future where every person has the opportunity to thrive, supported by the resources, care, and community they deserve.

Client Testimonials:

“Elaine Adams has truly made a huge difference in guiding me into a more positive approach to life. She’s personable & she’s provided me with positive affirmations and approaches, helping me to cope and then overcome some of my most traumatic and painful life experiences. She’s able to assess situations thoroughly and has provided me with concrete tools, plans, and processes for both my personal and professional goals. Her techniques have allowed me to recognize my strength and build back my confidence. Her guidance has been a gift.

“MS” was a single father with 1 daughter. He fell behind on rent and reached out to Reclaiming Our Greatness for assistance. ROG was able to help; pay his past due balance and provide critical case management support. Shortly after the help was provided, he had an accident that caused him to endure second degree burns and have skin graph surgery. He was out of work for several weeks and ROG was able to help him and his daughter pay for the balance owing on his rent as well and provided resources for food banks in his area.

“Without the help of ROG, me and my daughter would be out on the street and living in unsafe conditions.”

“DA” is a mother of 4. DA reached out to ROG for moving assistance. Although ROG did not have any funding available, the case manager was able to connect the family to the right department in their current school district to support. Their kids were supported during the move and did not have to transition to a new school, despite their new home being outside district boundaries. The family is doing well in their new home and kids are thriving in school.

“I wanted to take a moment to once again say thank you both for taking the extra miles to make sure we got the gift cards. My family Is super grateful for this help that absolutely turned out to be a blessing for us. Thank you so much and I hope you both have a fabulous Rest of the week.
